One stunning email to the "events coordinator" people later, I think I at least have a good solid foot in the door when it comes to this job. Maybe even two feet completely hovering the doorframe. We shall see. I can't forget-- interview on Tuesday. Speaking of interviews, I need to get off my lazy ass and find out about all these different bartending opportunities. I have a few places I need to call, I need to turn in that one application.... AHHH! Damn the man......

On the plus side, I get to sell back books today! Wahoo! We already sold back a few yesterday since Tyson is a bookstore employee, so we already have $61 back. And his logic book I'm turning in today should bring a fair amount of money cos it's hardcover and still in good condition. But still, if you think about it-- we spent $400+ on books and we get just over $100 back. Woo. Ah, such is the rape of the University Bookstore.

I'm seeing a movie that I'm rather excited about tonight-- It's called Kissing Jessica Stein. It's about this woman answers a personal ad saying "Woman seeking woman" to increase her odds and it turns out that the woman who placed it was thinking the same thing... and anyway, it really sounds like a Sara/Tyson movie. It also doesn't hurt that the woman playing Helen is lovely. Mmm. Not to mention that I have some serious repressed energy in the female dept. Jaysus mary and Jeebus. Someone get me some boobies. ;) Wow that was so 13 yr old boy of me. Oh well.

Which John Cusack Are You?

Sounds good to me.

I bought the dress I'm going to wear when I get married. Yes indeedy, I'm wearing red on my wedding day. Scandalous! Scandalous! :) But it's really quite lovely.... You can go to probably any Target near you and see it. It has a few flowers, it has a little ruffle effect on the bottom. Go forth, preview before I post the pics in July. :)

Turns out I didn't get the theatre coordinator job, but that's okay cos they seemed to think I was qualified all the same. They redirected me to interview for the "Annual Events Coordinator" this Tuesday at 3:40. So that's good. We shall see how it goes. I also picked up an application for bartending at the bowling alley that's practically across the street from my apartment. Lordy. I really need a job. So I'm working on it. Hrm.

It reoccurs to me now and then that "Oh wow... I'm getting married in *slowly does mental math* a little over two months...." And what have we accomplished? We've purchased plane tickets. Yup. That's it. Wow. Tyson's looked around for hotel accomodations, but we can't afford to book a room at the moment. But we're getting there. I have no idea what I'm wearing, but it's not like it's a big wedding or anything, so I just want something that will look good for pictures. I need to make a list about what people we're inviting to the parties after we get back. So yeah. There are a few things to do.

On a more humours note: For some reason I have a pair of black mossimo pants in my drawer. They're not mine, they're not Kristen's.... they are someone's in either of the apt buildings that got mixed in with my laundry. But more importantly: They fit. So I guess I have a new pair of pants?

Onward and outward!

I went to my job interivew today to be the UC Theatre Coordinator, which basically means I'd be responsible for picking out what movies are played each weekend and would also design and promote what was happening each week/month. I think the interview went fairly well, but my friend Scott also got called in for an interview which means he has a very good chance of beating the pants off me (wow that phrase is really weird, if you think about it.... especially since I know that Scott would never want in my pants! lol) But the guy interviewing me said that I would get a call on Monday....

And now Marla is here. so more later

AHHHH!!! THE BREEDERS ARE GOING TO BE IN SAN FRANCISCO AT THE FILLMORE JULY 11th WHILE I'M THERE......... YYYAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!
*whew*

I believe it's small like the Fillmore in Denver, and like the Warfield which is also in San Fran, so needless to say, I am one happy chicken. Tyson, Kristen--- We must go.

"Random"...........(word used just for you, Wendy)

Man, back in my day.... The Dead Monkeys were the hippest show in town. Ol' Billy on the clarinet sure did blow a mean one! He just blew and blew, all night long. Damn! Those were the days.

Let us all give Kristen a big round o'applause for her and her dear man Tom. *clappy clappy clappy* I like him already.

Other stuff I forgot yesterday: Due to the fact that I just sort of slacked off this semester and didn't take many credits, I'm taking some classes this summer so I can be just over in the sophomore standing instead of just below. So I am taking from May 26th until June26th:
9:10- 10:40---- American Lit. since 1865 (I'm taking it again, and this time NOT from a crazy German)
10:50- 12:20--- Relaxation and Self-Enhancement (for 3 credits? aww yeah!)
12:30- 2:00--- Beginning Web Design. (and it will rock, and maybe I'll actually learn something)

I can handle that everyday for a month. I think I can handle that just fine. I'll have a week or two to recouperate after finals and such, and then I'll jump back into it. I think I'll be more motivated to do well in the summer cos it's just the two classes, and it'll mostly just be reading, and I read like crazy in the summer anyway.

And just so you have firther info to stalk me: I also was able to schedule for next fall, and I got EVERY CLASS I wanted! Yay!
MONDAY
9:10-10:00 Spanish 202 (I'm finally taking it before I forget!)
11:10-12:00 Math 107 (math for english majors, yeah!)
12:00-1:00 Intro to Buddhism (Tyson already owns the books, so that's less money I have to spend)
3:10-5:00 Buddhism-Meditation Lab (with required weekend "field trip/retreat" which Marla told me is basically laying around, taking drugs and having strange conversations during this lovely school sponsored event...shoud be... interesting)

TUESDAY
9:10-10:00 Spanish 202
10:10-12:00 Geology Lab (despite the fact I'm in geology right now)
12:40- 3:00 Film/Literature (which should rock. It's taught by John Glendening, who I had for British Lit. He is a hysterical, strange, perma-fried man.)

WEDS.
11:10-12:00 Math 107
12:10-1:00 Buddhism

THURS.
9:10-10:00 Spanish 202
12:40- 3:00 Film/Lit.

FRI.
9:10-10:00 Spanish 202
11:10- 12:00 Math 107
12:10- 1:00 Buddhism

So I think that will be cool. Math and Spanish will be hard enough for me, so I don't need a lit class or anythin on top of all that. Buddhism is basically a bunch of reading and Tyson can help me out with that class and with math as well, since I'm pretty much inept with numbers. And he's taking Spanish 101, which is insanely easy, so I can help him out with that. So I have 17 credits for all that, and 9 this summer, so rawk! Yeah. And hopefully this time around I will actually be motivated to do well. What a concept, eh? (Yes I just said eh.)

And I believe that.... is all.

Behold! For I have things to say!

aa. So I went to the AM Radio/Pete Yorn/Weezer concert last night and it rocked. I was right up front for Pete Yorn, and although he needed to turn up his vocals, it was still a great experience. However, my ribs and sternum were getting crushed up against the barrier, so I asked to be pulled out before Weezer started. I stood just off to the side and could see perfectly fine-- if not better than when I was in the crowd. Rivers is rather funny looking with his beard, but that's allright! I love the gigantic Weezer "W" that they have hanging up there. And I just knew that they'd play "Buddy Holly" at the encore. I kind of get the impression that when bands play in Montana, they feel like they should play their hits because they think that us "uncultured Montana folk" don't know much outside of that. And while with Weezer, that IS the case with me, I know that there were plenty of rabid Weezer fans out in that crowd that would have appreciated some "Pinkerton" songs. Also, I did appreciate their "So Happy Together" cover. :) AM Radio was good, but HEY! GUYS! It's pronounced "MI-ZOO-LAH" not "MIZ-OL-UH"!!

bb. I PASSED MY BARTENDING TEST. Yessiree, Sara is now a certified "mixologist" who can make you martinis and screaming orgasms like no other. ;) Tyson and I have our certificates hanging on the wall in the kitchen, framed and everything. We are nerds, we know. Now everyone we know is like "Heyyyy someone should buy us some alcohol so you can practice on us." I have no objections.

cc. My family is probably coming this weekend, so that's cool I suppose. Mostly I just want to take Luke around. Awww, corrupting the little brother. RAWK! They might bring the dog, and I don't have a problem with that, but we shall see. I miss my Maggie. She was so traumitized that I moved my furniture out that she threw up by my room twice right after I left. Poor puppy.

With that, I must go. And clean. Ugh-uh.

Well kids, I got a tattoo. Yes, that's right, I broke my "tattooginity" yesterday at the wonderful establishment that is Painless Steel. I'd scan the tracing of the tattoo, but of course, I don't have my scanner hooked up again, nor do I have a place to upload the photos at the moment, SOOOO I would go HERE Search for the font "Artistik" and I would like you to picture SSInk in that font. Okay? That is my tattoo. SSInk, cool font. :) I got it on my left shoulder and it didn't hurt unless she was right on the shoulder blade, but it only took half an hour to do and was only $40, so wahoo! Twas the last bit of needless spending Tyson and I did.

We bought our plane tickets to San Francisco today. July 10th through the 15th we shall be there. Exciting! :)

In other news, we have decided to become bartenders cos yeah, that would kick ass. Tips...mmmm...money..... We go to class to learn everything from 9-5 this Sat. and Sun. and then 9-5 all next weekend, and then they actually FIND US JOBS within a week or two of graduating as official "mixologists" and we are on our merry little way. I'm so excited cos I really need a job and I can make a bunch of money doing this. Yay!

So far my favorite drink titles are....
1. Dirty White Mother
2. Pink Squirell
3. Sloe Comfortable Screw Against the Wall
4. Rusty Nail
5. Bourbon Presbeteryian

Rawk! I shall let you all know how it goes!

If i was a serial killer i would be Jack the Ripper.

Jack the Ripper, by far the most notorious killer of all time. What would drive a man to kill 5 prostitutes, surgically mutilate the bodies, then stop, to never be heard from again? Most of the murders were pretty much the same, the victim had her throat cut and her abdomen exposed, the intestines were placed over her right shoulder and sometimes a kidney or even the heart had been removed.

Jack the RIpper's murders are still unsolved.

Kill count: 5

Who rocks? Sara rocks! WHY does Sara rock? COS SHE SCORED 100 ON KRISTEN'S QUIZ! Hahahahaha.

Oh, and my parents bought us chairs for the kitchen table, and we figured out how to put the legs on right. (I'm soo retarded. The legs are on BACKWARDS!) We also bought a monkey lamp..... now we just need an endtable to put him on.

More on the moving saga later.
